Elizabeth and Bill’s wedding in Paris

Elizabeth and Bill, two NYC artists had a wonderful celebration of their wedding in Paris, full of love, music, dance and culture.

At the Shagri-La Hotel, Elizabeth and Bill had a jewish-christian-muslim ceremony, performed by a friend.  With Elizabeth being a professional ballerina at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and Bill being a rock drummer, formerly with the Black Crows, music and culture were all around on their wedding in Paris.

With an intimate and romantic photo session with a dreamy Eiffel Tower backdrop and in the city of Paris.  The bride brought her point shoes and under the arcades of the Louvre she put up a dance in her wedding gown.

The reception was held on a private yacht on the Seine and the vibe transitioned from classically Parisian to a cabaret feel.  When everyone was seated the bride & groom made their entrance to La Vie en Rose performed by the jazz singer Melody Gardot accompanied by a Gatsby-themed jazz band.

After a gourmet French meal groomsmen Jessie Harris (grammy award winning singer-songwriter) and Anthony Wilson (guitarist extraordinaire for Diana Krall) performed Jessie’s song You and Me to wrap up dinner. The next surprise of the night was a  Turkish belly dancer as a nod to the bride’s Turkish heritage which got everyone on their feet, to end the night with DJ-Jack spinning classic soul and funk on vinyl.
