Feeling what the client experiences…

As a wedding photographer I want my clients to feel fabulous on their wedding day and look back on their day with an amazing wedding report. However, nothing is as hard as directing your client in something you don’t know how it feels.  In the end, you’re working with real people, not being used to stand in front of a camera every single day.

I’m in love with a contemporary and natural style of photography, which is not over-posed and that’s also something I want to transfer onto my clients. To totally understand how it feels to be directed in a photoshoot, I wanted to challenge myself again with a new session for my corporate portraits. And I admit, I don’t feel at ease in front of a camera, so yes…  this was a challenge!

It was Theresa Pewal who made me feel comfortable during my portrait shoot. She gave me the opportunity to experience again what it is to be at the other side of the camera, which I’m very grateful for!

From time to time I truly feel this is something very useful to do as a photographer, just to get back with the feet on the ground and to know how it is to be there.  As I already wrote, I want my clients to feel fabulous in my work and that’s just the way I wanted it to be!  Touching base with the client, getting on the same level and creating that beautiful experience connecting with each other is something unique.

Being able to create that unique and relaxed experience is the extra we have to try to deliver every time again as each client deserves this.

Feeling humbled to share with you some of the portraits Theresa created for me, a wonderful experience!
